How Interesting is your TODAY?


I want to start my hectic day with some interesting quotes by Audrey Hepburn. Every quote somewhere relates to my thought or the way, I see life NOW!

I enrolled myself in Art classes – Emboss Painting and this is tough for me as there is lot of pushing and embossing of foil sheets with tools.

At the end of the class, my hands, fingers and arms, everything hurts.

But when I see the end result, I feel so good!

If my world were to cave in tomorrow, I would look back on all the pleasures, excitements and worthwhilenesses I have been lucky enough to have had. Not the sadness, not my miscarriages or my father leaving home, but the joy of everything else. It will have been enough.

Let's face it, a nice creamy chocolate cake does a lot for a lot of people; it does for me.  

 

Living is like tearing through a museum. Not until later do you really start absorbing what you saw, thinking about it, looking it up in a book, and remembering - because you can't take it in all at once.  

 

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries or the way she combs her hair.

50 Shades of Grey - Banned?


50 Shades of Grey

I downloaded this book from a pirated site. I want to read this book not because it has kinky stuff but to understand why it is banned J.

There are books on net or in libraries that have been on a longer shelf life irrespective of the content of the book.

As a writer and a reader,  I do not believe to restrict myself from exploring and experimenting with different books and content.

I read many links around ’50 shades of Grey’ being banned but one of them was somehow quite interesting and justified in supporting ‘not to ban’ this book.

I will enjoy reading this book as I have set no expectations from it and it is solely to understand why we support ‘Kamasutra’ but ban ’50 Shades of Grey’?

Sinnovolle Bilder (Purposeful Pictures) - Being Closer to God


I am a bird lover.



Birds cannot speak like us. They have no means to express hunger. It has been years that I feed birds and it gives me immense peace within myself. Feeding someone who cannot express hunger is being closer to God. 

I always write, when you want to be happy, make others happy. When you want to treat your inner unrest, learn to give peace. Feeding a bird is satisfying a hungry soul and you will feel that divine peace within yourself.

More than 50 pigeons come at my mother’s residence to have their morning feast with us. A click that shows that they just come for ‘food’, they are not my birds but it serves a purpose J

I want to live till 40 J. But when I wrote my second chapter for my second book, I was so impressed with this true love story that I thought to live longer.

Love stories are always inspirational. The link below is to read my latest story published by Carol and it is a true love story of my yoga teacher. Two people from different parts of India met at the age of 40 and fell in love. It is a story around true love and acceptance at the age of 40. For some people, Life begins at 40 J.

World Animal Day 2012


Today, it is World Animal Day.  I would love to share a video with my readers. Though, I could have written an Animal Tale or shared a story from any website but this video was so interesting to view and share. There are many kids around me who know about malls, coffee shops and lavish apparel brands but have never seen a horse. When they have not seen a horse how would they relate to ‘World Animal Day’. Sweet and Bitter: Charm Of Friendship



I was thinking what to write, tonight. Life is like a marathon as I have engaged myself into number of activities. Life is busy around yoga classes to writing for another product portfolio and then working on my second book. Not to forget, I just enrolled myself into art classes as well J. But when I retire at the end of the day, I try to think and formulate something useful for my readers from my real life.

What is friendship?

For me, it is like a journey with a person in real or virtual world where I accept the way one is born. Sometimes, we look for like-minded people as friends as it makes our life easy. But for me, it is opposite. I love my friends the way they are born and gifted to me. I cannot be a ‘Yes’ to ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to ‘No’ kinds of a friend.

When two people of different nature and attitude meet, there are possibilities of argument and misunderstanding. In short, this is what makes a friendship to live. There is no relation in the world that is sweet all the time. Just like, we cannot live only on sweets. To satisfy our taste buds, we need to binge on sour or bitter stuff as well.

The real taste of any relationship is experienced when we have a combination of sweet, sour and bitter. Life is beautiful when you perceive it like that. Similarly, any relationship or friendship is beautiful or charming, if you perceive it that way. If you give more significance to mere bitter incidents, you cannot live your friendship. Every friend is unique and there is only one friend who comes in your life to change you or effect you or challenge you to change to a better friend J.

Friends are born to fight, love, kiss, hug and kick each other. All of them are true traits of friendship. If you get confused, close your eyes and just think about what all your friend has done to understand you as a friend.

Has he/she not followed your terms and conditions of friendship (though there should be no terms and conditions in friendship)?

Has he/she not fought for you many times with situations or your people for you? 

Has he/she left you alone when you needed him/her the most?

Has he/she ever asked you a question ‘why’ to which he/she might be seeking an answer?

Do your manipulation and when you open your eyes, if you still think, your degree of bitterness is more than sweetness for your friend, just MOVE ON and never look back for your friend. Meet new people and make new friends J.

I have gone through a similar situation in life and maybe this post might help my friend to understand that friends are born to love and fight. They call each other names but they stand against the whole world to keep up their friendship.

Rest, at the end of the day, nothing is more important to me than my friend’s happiness. I will always pray my friends and my readers (who are more than my friends) should stay happy and blessed by God.

So live the sweetness and bitterness of your friendship. I wish, if any reader of mine has lost his/her friend out of ego or misunderstanding, must reunite. Friends are like diamonds – hard to earn and very expensive to lose J
