April Fools’ Day 2012

Happy Fools’ Day 2012

Thank God, April Arrived...I was bored of March 2012J

Today is Fool’s Day, a day that we love to celebrate for no reasons. April Fools' Day is celebrated in different countries on April 1 every year. Sometimes referred to as All Fools' Day, April 1 is not a national holiday, but is widely recognized and celebrated as a day when many people play all kinds of jokes and foolishness. This custom is thought to have started in France during the 16th century but the British are credited with bringing it to the United States.

The day is marked by the commission of good-humored or otherwise funny jokes, hoaxes, and other practical jokes of varying sophistication on friends, family members, teachers, neighbors, work associates, etc.

The best thing about Fool’s Day is that it gives you an idea about your good friends’ indeed best friends. How?

Friends who can tease you and make a fool of you are the ones who know you in and out. They are the ones who know how you will react to a particular situation or are well aware of your fears and hidden weaknesses (the word ‘weakness’ is not used in a negative aspect). Take any instance from your life and recall this day from this aspect. You will actually realize that the ones who made a fool of you were or are your best friends or the ones who understand you the best!

Happy Fools’ Day!!
