TULIP Magazine: Published My Story

Finally!!

I am off to Delhi for next 5 days to be with my mom as she is scheduled for Knee Replacement Surgery (:

But before I leave Hyderabad, there is an update. I have finally made it to the ‘Print Media’ as well. One of the magazines – TULIP (www.tulipmag.com) mainly a Hyderabad Lifestyle magazine has shortlisted my story and published it in their February, 2012, issue 9. You can grab a copy of TULIP to read my story on page 31.

This means a lot to me as I was looking for expanding my ways to reach maximum number of readers. There are still people who prefer to read a paper than their laptop screens.

How it happened?

I was sitting at my spa and reading the January, 2012, issue when I realised that the magazine has covered all aspects from fashion to travel, fitness to lifestyle but there was nothing about inspiring people. I wrote the very same day to the editor and he asked me for a write up.

I sent him my very first story and he liked it so much that he promised to publish it. And today, I grabbed a copy and my story was right in front of me. It is a great feeling as it has opened doors for me to write more and more for both web world and print media.

I will be able to connect with more people and cater to larger audience now.

From Stories to Articles or From Web World to Print Media, this year has started with a good note as far as work is concerned. In the month of January 2012, I started writing articles for my web editors and now print media has added more sense of responsibility.

Thanks to all my readers, friends and family who always encouraged me and blessed me.

I will not be able to blog much until 12^th Feb, 2012.
