I asked my friend , "How are you?"
He answered, "Just bought a new car."
I was baffled. I could not understand his answer to my question. A car decides someone's well-being.
We have become slaves to materialistic things. We decide our happiness on the basis of our financial status and materialistic possessions. We look down upon those who do not possess a big house or a big car. Life is spinning into confusion, negativity and anger as we are simly judging people around us.
Month of Love : Look beyond these small pity things. Look for a gesture to kiss a child. A moment to spend with someone you hardly know. A bite of your meal to someone who is really hungry. A piece of cloth for a naked body.
It is easy to comment about others lives but difficult to compliment someone's noble act. If you cannot do good to others, do not to bad as well.
Promise yourself - to create a better world for our children!
Amen!
