WAIT is OVER....WON the WORLD CUP!

Chaar bhej gaye hain lekin party abhi bakhi hainJ
Networks got jammed and every Indian wants to congratulate the other one. The moment Dhoni
hits the last ball...even before Yuvraj could go and hug Dhoni, people around me started hugging each other. There were no reservations whether we know each other or not. 400 people at a place watching the match since 2 PM had one thing in common – WE ALL ARE INDIANS. I realised the value of the field ‘nationality’ in our passports.
For every Indian it is like – Diwali or Dussera. Getting the cup after 28 years means the world not only to those who played but millions who supported them.
As I posted that history should not repeat itself like 1996 and we should create new history. It actually happened. We are owners of World Cup until the next happens. Our wait is over........
For last 6 years, I have never seen so many people on the roads...celebrating, yelling, boozing and cheering for India. Hyderabad was not less than Italy. I remember seeing something like this when Italy won for the fourth time Football World Cup (FIFA) in 2006 after 1982. The same spirit was seen in every Indian on the roads of Hyderabad. They were celebrating as Indians ...forgetting the State Split....it was a sight of felicity!

The celebrations on streets and fireworks make me feel as if we all are celebrating Diwali.
Congratulations to all my readers and all Indians who are in India (their proud home) and all those who supported India being away from their homeland....The Cup BELONGS to all of us.
We are proud of our team who played with their best skills and efforts.
Chak De India!
