I am all tanned and baked after my Pondy trip but there is one thing that I loved about the trip. My visit to a temple where I saw – Lakshmi, an elephant donated 20 years back at a temple and she has been there since then. I still remember her silver anklets and lot of gold neck hangings. But the best was a bell that goes around her big indeed huge waistJ
I was unwell that evening and was just not strong to walk a bit more. My husband went inside the temple premises and he was so excited that he came looking for me. He said, he has a surprise for me and the moment I saw Lakshmi, I got so happy and I forgot everything. It became a game for me to feed her and wait for her blessings. I asked my husband – ‘give me money and I will buy her food’.
I repeated this for 3 times but Lakshmi could make out that I am being funny so she did not blessed for the third timeJ
