Happy Women's Day !!

To my all women readers around the globe - A Very Happy Women's Day.

My poemfor all the women is published in Friday Gurgaon, and I have completed my three months contract with them for better things in life. I am happy that I completed my tenure on a very special day, for all the women - 'Women's Day'.

Here is the link - http://www.fridaygurgaon.com/news/3019-The-Women-In-Your-Life.html

My small message for all the women - Just Be Yourself. It comes from an Indian woman who stays in a male dominated society. Just Be Yourself means to live fullest to your expectations and desires. Do not let your goodness or strengths fade away by unfortunate incidents or miseries of life.

I really talk very loud :). When I talk, people think I am mad at someone. But I had to shout being a woman among men and bidding for my projects during my sales job - a decade ago. Now, I have become like that, and people do critcize my voice, but I still do not mind. I know my journey and it is my life. I still wear my glasses and flaunt them as a gift of God. I believe - 'I AM JUST MYSELF'.

I see women straightening their hair, wearing too much makeup. I am no exception. But do not let your inner beauty die as that is what matters at the end of the day.

I am proud to be a woman like many of you!

Cheers!

Story of Anamika.....

Her story is a mystery. She is still in coma after a month's time in one of the hospitals in Bangalore. She was found in semi-clad state among beer bottles and condoms. It is a mystery of her misery that nobody knows till she responds to the treatment.

An appeal to everyone - we are not vegetables.....Before you wish us - 'Women's Day', believe in the power of words. At times, we are physically raped and many times, we are emotionally raped.

Jokes - Just thought to blog:)

Few jokes for just fun - I am being so sweet to my male readers in 'Women's Day week celebration'. I am posting few jokes for them:)

WHY DO COUPLES FIGHT

My wife sat down on the couch next to me as I was flipping channels.
She asked, 'What's on TV?'
I said, 'Dust.'
And then the fight started.

My wife was hinting about what she wanted for our upcoming anniversary.
She said, 'I want something shiny that goes from 0 to 100 in about 3 seconds.'
I bought her a weighing scale.
And then the fight started.

When I got home last night, my wife demanded that I take her someplace expensive.
So, I took her to a petrol pump
And then the fight started.

My wife and I were sitting at a table at her high school reunion, and my wife kept staring at a drunken man swigging his drink as he sat alone at a nearby table.
I asked my wife, 'Do you know him?'
'Yes,' she sighed, 'He's my old boyfriend.
I understand he took to drinking right after we split up those many years
ago, and I hear he hasn't been sober since.'
'My God!' I said to my wife, 'who would think a person could go on celebrating that long?'
And then the fight started.

My wife is standing & looking in the bedroom mirror.
She is not happy with what she sees and says to me,
'I feel horrible; I look old, fat and ugly. I really need you to pay me a compliment.'
I replied, 'Your eyesight's damn near perfect.'
And then the fight started.

I tried to talk my wife into buying a case of Kingfisher for 500 rs.
Instead, she bought a jar of cold cream for 300 rs.
I told her the beer would make her look better at night than the cold cream..
And then the fight started..

I asked my wife, "Where do you want to go for our anniversary?"
It warmed my heart to see her face melt in sweet appreciation.
"Somewhere I've not been in a long time. So I took her to the kitchen. Then the fight started

My latest write-up in FG!

I am writing for Friday Gurgaon for the last three months. I am just an article away from completing my contract, and then things will be quite bright as I believe - it's all in the mind. I always thought, I will have an easy life but it just spinned so hard for me.

Life is an unxpected journey with no destination for some people:)

First day of March, and I am celebrating this month to acknowledge women and her skills as a mother, a daughter, a sister ,et al.

I start this month with a link to one of my latest published poem in Friday Gurgaon.

Happy Weekend!
