Quotes from Bhagwat Gita: Your Friendship Gift!

I feel so happy and free, when I read some of these quotes from Bhagwat Gita and how it transformed me from a negative person to a positive thought. My husband’s grandmother gave me an English Vesrion of ‘Bhagwat Gita’ that I never felt to read. But for last 3 days, I am reading it and I thought, I should have read it earlier.

I faced the worst of situations and discrimination in last few days. A reason of discriminating me as I am not a biological mother and it is a common mentality of Indian society to discard women on these grounds. I felt hurt and I cried.
But when I walked out into the same society, there was a kajal under my eyes and gloss on my lips. It was possible because of my Chinna Maa and my husband. Chinna Maa (my God Given Mother) asked me to chant Hanuman Mantra when I came across Bhagwat Gita in my library. Few quotes changed me and I wore a smile on my face.
My parents named me, ‘Geeta’ though the same world torn me so many times. But these few quotes that I heard somewhere, sometime in my life made a whole new change for me. This is for my readers as ‘Friendship Gift’ in my birthday month. Wipe you tears and wear a BIG SMILE for me and my postJ. I have started writing my second and last book just because these quotes could help meJ.

BELOW ARE SOME OF THE FAMOUS QUOTES FROM BHAGWAT GITA:

"yada yada hi dharmasya

glanir bhavati bharata

abhyutthanam adharmasya

tadatmanam srjamy aham" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Four verse 7)

"karmany evadhikaras te

ma te sango ’stv akarmani" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Two verse 47)

"na jayate mriyate va kadacin

navani grhnati naro ’parani
