Quotes.....Friendship

I wrote a story for this day but as we say 'Man proposes, God disposes'. Maybe, God has his own vision and plans for everyone and I do not want to counter God. But as it is a day for me to write about friendship, all I could blog are some of my favourite quotes. Though, this is the last time, I will blog about friends on this day as life is to move on and at times, we should not remember dates :). I have a habit to read a quote every night and write it in my personal diary under different labels. Some of them, I think may help many people around the globe to convey their true friendship to their friends.

"Silence make the real conversations between friends. Not the saying, but the never needing to say that counts.”

“Why did you do all this for me?" he asked. "I don't deserve it. I've never done anything for you.'
You have been my friend,' replied Charlotte. 'That in itself is a tremendous thing.”

“I think if I've learned anything about friendship, it's to hang in, stay connected, fight for them, and let them fight for you. Don't walk away, don't be distracted, don't be too busy or tired, don't take them for granted. Friends are part of the glue that holds life and faith together. Powerful stuff.”

“A friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to grow.”

“Don't walk behind me; I may not lead. Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend.”

“The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when you discover that someone else believes in you and is willing to trust you with a friendship.”

“Wishing to be friends is quick work, but friendship is a slow ripening fruit.”

I just wish my readers live with their friends forever....long live their friendship:).....

Lights and Diyas: Happy Diwali:)

I got this as a parting gift and I blog it as my Diwali gift for my readers. I read the lyrics of this song from a movie ‘Thandavam’ and I could understand – ‘Nothing’J.

But the music makes me feel so good and happy. There is something about it, do not know what but I share this as a gift for my readers on this Diwali. Here is a link on my blog to listen to ‘A poem for you’ from the movie ‘Thandavam’.

When I get tired while writing and no thoughts are floating into my mind, I listen to this small clip. I close my eyes and think of nature around me. I see myself running in an open space in a white satin gown among white lilies. I see white horses and colouful butterflies around me. I can see a unique union of sun and rainbow. I can listen to the sound of water hitting the pebbles and delivering sweet nature music. I think of a perfect life and I think of myself as the most beautiful woman on EarthJ. I think of a day without pain and I think of a day just made for me.

Listen and enjoy your Diwali Gift. I have nothing better to gift to my readers on this Diwali than a thought that ‘Life is so beautiful. Live it. Love it. Deserve it’.

Light your life with ‘candles’ of ‘positive thoughts’ and ‘diyas’ of ‘gesture to give than to receive’.
Happy DiwaliJ

I Wish - Your Wish Comes True:)

I just updated my art blog with all my paintings and stuff of creativity. To know more, you can click the below link.

I am working on my second emboss painting. For this Diwali, I am making diyas at home and hope to finish before I leave for Bangalore. I will put all the pictures on my art blog for art lovers.

I started the sponsorship fee of my daughter and there was a long gap. I was busy in work and really wanted to be stable financially J

At times, we give up but then there is a hope in heart and a wish in every prayer. If that hope in your heart and wish in your prayer is true and with complete honesty, God will never deny it!

I look forward to couple of meetings in this week and just keep my fingers crossed. Before I hit the bed, there are few lines to remind my readers that follow your dreams and make your wishes come true. Let us start this festive season in India with few inspiring lines by Rossetti Christina Georgina

“I looked for that which is not, nor can be,
And hope deferred made my heart sick, in truth;
But years must pass before a hope of youth
Is resigned utterly.

I watched and waited with a steadfast will:
And, tho' the object seemed to fly away
That I so longed for, ever, day by day,
I watched and waited still.

Sometimes I said,-'This thing shall be no more;
My expectation wearies, and shall cease;
I will resign it now, and be at peace.'-
Yet never gave it o'er.

Sometimes I said,-'It is an empty name
I long for; to a name why should I give
The peace of all the days I have to live?'-
Yet gave it all the same.

Alas! thou foolish one,- alike unfit
For healthy joy and salutary pain,
Thou knowest the chase useless, and again
Turnest to follow it.”

Kahlil Gibran Defines Friendship....

 For my all readers and friends, I read some beautiful and meaningful quotes by Kahlil Gibran. Each word is so touching and it makes us understand the true definition of selfless and unconditional friendship. Friends are meant to be given our best. There are relations where we are born to ‘give’ than ‘take’J.

Your friend is your needs answered.
He is your field which you sow with love and reap with thanksgiving.
And he is your board and your fireside.
For you come to him with your hunger, and you seek him for peace.

When your friend speaks his mind you fear not the "nay" in your own mind, nor do you withhold the "ay."
And when he is silent your heart ceases not to listen to his heart;
For without words, in friendship, all thoughts, all desires, all expectations are born and shared, with joy that is unacclaimed.
When you part from your friend, you grieve not;
For that which you love most in him may be clearer in his absence, as the mountain to the climber is clearer from the plain.

And let there be no purpose in friendship save the deepening of the spirit.
For love that seeks aught but the disclosure of its own mystery is not love but a net cast forth: and only the unprofitable is caught.
And let your best be for your friend.
If he must know the ebb of your tide, let him know its flood also.
For what is your friend that you should seek him with hours to kill?
Seek him always with hours to live.
For it is his to fill your need, but not your emptiness.
And in the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures.
For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed.

Tough Get Going!

I thought to post this picture clicked by me with a quote for all my friends and readers in US. A small thought as a part of this post.

If anything came easy, it wouldn't be worth it. So, welcome difficult times, they teach us a lot and ones we are through them, we emerge stronger. Always keep in mind, Beautiful sunset needs Cloudy Skies…

Prayers and Wishes!
